Ordering Orders & Made to Order

Are your items made to order?

Yes, they are hand pressed. 

How long until my order arrives?

Dispatch can take 3-5 days and then shipping can take 2-3 days. 

I need it for a specific festival date — can you help?

Of course, we will do our very best to meet every deadline.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Get in touch as fast as you can and we'll almost always sort it. If we haven't started pressing your order, we can change or cancel it with no fuss. Once a personalised piece with your own wording on it is made, it can't be cancelled. Standard designs can be cancelled for 14 days after they arrive even once they're made, so you're never stuck with something you don't want.

Delivery Shipping Questions

How much is UK shipping?

UK Standard £4.99 — Royal Mail Tracked. Arrives 2–3 working days after dispatch. Orders over £35 are free. 

Do you ship internationally?

No, not yet. We deliver to UK addresses only, Northern Ireland included. Our checkout can't accept orders going overseas at the moment. International shipping is something we'd love to do, so join the newsletter and you'll hear about it the day it lands.

How do I track my order?

With the tracking number sent to you once the order is dispatched.  

It’s a gift — can you hide the price?

Of course!

Why isn't there any VAT on my order?

Because we're small enough not to be registered for it. The Feral Rats is a sole trader business trading below the UK VAT registration threshold, so we don't charge VAT and there's none shown on your receipt. The price on the product page is the price you pay, with delivery added at checkout. If you need a written invoice for your records, email hello@theferalrats.com with your order number and we'll send one.

 

Changed Your Mind?

Returns & Cancellations

What’s your returns policy?

You’ve got 30 days from delivery to send unworn, unused items back to us — tags still on, please. ✉️ Start a Return Email hello@theferalrats.com with your order number and we’ll send return instructions.

Can I return a personalised item?

Yes for standard designs, no for personalised ones. Our tees and keyrings are made to order rather than kept in stock, but they're our own designs, so you have the full 14-day right to cancel plus our 30-day goodwill returns. Only pieces carrying a custom name or crew tag you've given us are excluded, because they're made to your specification and we can't sell them to anyone else. Anything faulty is refunded or replaced either way. Full detail in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

My item arrived faulty or wrong — what now?

Damaged or Wrong Item? So sorry! Email us within 30 days with a photo and your order number and we’ll sort a replacement or full refund — return postage on us.

Who pays for return postage?

Depends on the circumstances. If the order is wrong, damaged or faulty then we will cover the return postage. However, if it was a changed mind, wrong item ordered, then you will be due to cover the cost.

Can I add my own name or crew tag?

Yes you can. Email hello@theferalrats.com to start the personalisation process. 

How do I wash my Feral Rats print?

🌀 Wash cool Machine wash inside out at 30° on a gentle cycle, with similar colours.

🚫 No harsh stuff No bleach, no fabric softener on the print, no dry cleaning — they break down the print.

🌬️ Air dry. Do not tumble dry. Hang or lay flat to dry, away from direct heat.

♨️ Iron with care. Iron inside out only — never directly on the design. A cloth over the reverse is perfect.

Leave it 24 hours before the first wash to let the print fully cure. Looked after properly, your Feral Rats print is built to outlast the season
