Purchase options cancellation policy
This policy covers the VIP Feral Rat Club membership, which is our only subscription product. Everything else we sell is a one-off purchase and is covered by our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
What you're signing up for
The VIP Feral Rat Club is a rolling monthly membership at £5 a month. Payment is taken automatically on the same date each month, using the payment method you signed up with, and it carries on until you cancel. There is no minimum term, no fixed-term commitment and no cancellation fee.
How to cancel
You can cancel any time, whichever way suits you:
- through the members' portal link in your VIP welcome email
- from your account on theferalrats.com
- or by emailing hello@theferalrats.com from the address you signed up with
We'll confirm your cancellation by email. If you haven't heard from us within two working days, chase us and we'll sort it.
You don't have to give a reason
You never have to tell us why. If you'd rather use a form than write a message, there's a standard cancellation form at the bottom of our Refund and Cancellation Policy — copy it, fill it in and email it to hello@theferalrats.com. You don't have to use it; an email or a click in your account is just as good.
When cancellation takes effect
Cancelling stops your next payment. You keep your member perks until the end of the month you've already paid for, and nothing more is taken after that.
If you cancel in the first 14 days
New members have a 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, running from the day you join. If you cancel a brand new membership within those 14 days, we'll refund your first payment in full.
We don't make a deduction for the days you've had member access, and we won't ask you to pay back a member discount or free delivery you've already used on an order. If you've used your perks and then changed your mind, that's fine — keep them.
Your welcome pack
Your welcome pack is a gift for joining, and it's yours to keep. If you cancel inside the first 14 days we won't ask for it back and we won't take its value off your refund.
Refunds
We don't refund past months on a membership you've been using. Any refund due goes back to your original payment method within 14 days.
If the price ever changes
If we change the membership price, we'll email you at least 30 days before it takes effect, so you can cancel first if you'd rather not carry on.
If a payment fails
We'll try again and let you know. If it still can't be taken, your membership and its perks pause until the payment goes through. Nothing is sent to a debt collector, ever. It's a t-shirt club.
